Location and Access
The chalet is located in La Macaza, in the Hautes-Laurentides region of Quebec, approximately 30 minutes from Mont-Tremblant. The exact address will be provided upon booking.
The drive from Montreal takes approximately 2 hours. Take Highway 15 North toward Mont-Tremblant, then follow Route 117 North to La Macaza. Detailed directions will be provided after booking.
Yes, multiple free parking spaces are available at the entrance of the property.
Check-in and Check-out
Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Special arrangements can be discussed by contacting us directly.
The chalet has a contactless entry system. You'll receive detailed access instructions before your arrival, allowing you to check in at your convenience.
Activities and Attractions
On-site, you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub, access the river and rapids, relax on the private beach, build campfires in the designated area, observe wildlife (deer, birds), and relax on the terrace overlooking the rapids.
Within 30 minutes, you'll find: hiking (Mont Gorille, Kiamika Park, Montagne d'Argent), kayaking/canoeing on the Rouge River, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (Les 6 Cantons Center, Domaine Saint-Bernard), P'tit Train du Nord (biking/skiing), dog sledding, Tremblant Station (alpine skiing, golf, zip-lining), and Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant.
Yes, the chalet is accessible and very enjoyable in winter! The hot tub is available year-round, and many winter activities are nearby (skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling). Traction cleats are recommended for walking on the property in winter.

The River and Nature
There is a small sandy cove (beach) where the water is generally calm and perfect for wading. However, swimming is NOT recommended near the rapids due to strong currents. Always supervise children near the water.
You can observe deer (especially early morning or evening), various birds (woodpeckers, blue jays, hummingbirds in summer), harmless garter snakes, and sometimes other small mammals. Observe without disturbing the animals.
